Its current structure was formed in 1981 through the merger of Laboratori Farmaceutici Valman and Laboratorio Farmacologico Milanese. Its roots include a family business established by Valeria and Manlio Businelli in the 1950s.
Based in Caronno Pertusella, LFM combines the development and manufacture of its own products with contract services for other companies. Its activities extend beyond pharmaceuticals to medical devices and consumer health products.
