Scientific and practical conference on "Glaucoma and Dry Eye Syndrome".

On 13.01.2024, Zeytun company together with Liv Bonadea Hospital organized an Ophthalmological scientific-practical conference on the topic "Glaucoma and dry eye syndrome".
The main purpose of organizing the conference was to present our doctors with the causes of glaucoma and dry eye syndrome, history and modern methods used in their treatment, and to exchange ideas on current practices.
At the conference, Istanbul University Jarrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, head of the Ophthalmology Department Professor Dr. Özcan Ocakoğlu, Eye Disease Specialist Professor Dr. Vedat Kaya, Liv Bonadea Hospital, doctors of the Department of Ophthalmology Specialist Dr. Nahid Mammadov and Uzman Dr. Aygül Tanrıverdiyeva made speeches.
Prof. Dr. Özcan Ocakoğlu moderated the conference. During his subsequent speeches, the esteemed professor presented the glaucoma disease, its history, principles of treatment before surgical intervention, choice of drugs, conditions, indications for surgical operation and the smallest details that our doctors should pay attention to during surgical interventions, with examples from his personal experience.
Then Prof. Dr. Vedat Kaya provided our doctors with information and experiences related to the complications and treatment principles of dry eye in glaucoma.
Invited professors from Turkey presented their modern diagnostic methods, innovations in the selection of drug and surgical treatment tactics to our local ophthalmologists.
In addition, as mentioned, our Specialist doctors also presented their experience to our doctors. Specialist Dr. Nahid Mammadov "Surgical treatment options in glaucoma" Expert Dr. Aygul Tanrıverdiyeva presented detailed information to our doctors about "Field of vision in glaucoma - OCT".
As a result, modern technological advantages of our company's Santen products, features of preservative-free Cosopt (BK) product, which is one of the glaucoma treatment tools, were presented to our doctors. In addition, the Kationorm product, which has the latest technological innovations and has become one of the most important products in dry eye, was also presented to the attention of our doctors.
Our doctors addressed questions to Professors on many topics and the questions were answered accordingly.
