“Zeytun Pharmaceuticals” Holds Meetings with the Delegation of Uzbekistan within the Framework of the VI International Pharmaceutical Congress

Within the framework of the VI International Pharmaceutical Congress on “Modern Challenges in Pharmacy,” a delegation representing leading scientific and educational institutions of Uzbekistan held a series of meetings with the management of Zeytun Pharmaceuticals. As a Silver Sponsor of the congress, our company prioritizes expanding international partnerships, strengthening information exchange, and developing regional cooperation opportunities.

At the first meeting, the General Director of “Zeytun Pharmaceuticals,” Bahruz Shiraliyev, together with Professor Mahbuba Valiyeva, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Management at Azerbaijan Medical University, held discussions with Shamansur Shakhsaidovich Sagdullaev, First Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Director of the Institute of Chemistry of Plant Substances named after S. Yunusov. Subsequently, Professor Karieva Ekut Saidkarimovna, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute; Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences Nuridullaeva Kamola Negmatilloevna, Chair of the Pharmacovigilance Committee of the “Center for the Safety of Pharmaceutical Products” of the Republic of Uzbekistan; as well as DSc Firuza Maksudova, Vice-Rector for Practical Training of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, held meetings with the company’s management.

During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on expanding internship and practical training opportunities for young specialists, pharmaceutical technology, chemical research of plant-based preparations, strengthening pharmacovigilance and drug safety, as well as exploring potential areas of cooperation. The delegation was briefed on Zeytun Pharmaceuticals’ portfolio management, quality assurance mechanisms, nationwide sales infrastructure, and distribution model. Potential business partnership opportunities were also reviewed.

As a result of the meetings, both sides expressed mutual interest in continuing cooperation aimed at introducing new brands to the market and implementing future commercial projects. By expanding its international partnership network, Zeytun Pharmaceuticals continues to contribute to the development of the pharmaceutical sector in the region.
